Iridology is the window into the body’s health for humans or animals. The state of health can be discerned by examining the coloured section of the eye (the iris), the white of the eye (the sclera) and the black pupil.

Through the optic nerve, the iris reflexes every tissue and organ in the body.  An iridologist can see predispositions toward disease and identify nutritional deficiencies. These predispositions can be identified long before disease develops to the point where it can be recognised by orthodox x-rays or blood markers. Where disease has already developed, iridology is particularly helpful in identifying true causes.

Andrea Fernandez has developed considerable experience in assessing the health of horses and other domestic animals through iridology operating nationally and internationally. She is currently looking at engaging in a PhD program after having finished her Master's degree in January 2010. She also holds a  University degree and works as a qualified and accredited Naturopath. Andrea now works from premises in Adelaide's CBD to help the cause of people's health ailments.
